Road trip to Mostar – Bosnia

Was staying in Sarajevo enough ? ofcourse not !! who would say NO to a road trip in a new destination !!! There was I on that early morning getting ready for a roadtrip except its not me driving like I usually do 😛 this time I’m sitting in the back to enjoy the Road !! which is more fun so that I could take some photo shots 😀  New roads that I have never seen before …roads even my imagination haven’t reached ! will take me to explore a new land ” Mostar ” 🙂

I fell in love with the name o that city ” Mostar ” before I saw it ! how ? well there is nothing more interesting than reading about a place before going to it … when I arrived to Sarajevo, Bosnia , I had Mostar listed in my Must See places ! during my stay in Bosnia I read on the web about Mostar then it goes again and again as it usually happens with me ..scenes with all the information I was reading ..all flying  into my mind ! imagination works incredibly when Im traveling 🙂 I woke up that morning with full excitment to visit that place ..that city ” Mostar ” !!

what about ” Mostar ”  ? its one of the most important cities in the Herzegovina region . Mostar is situated on the Neretva river and is the fifth-largest city in the country. it is named after after the bridge keepers (natively: mostari) who in the medieval times guarded the Stari Most (Old Bridge) over Neretva river.  its almost 2 hours and something from Sarajevo to Mostar depending on the weather . A beautiful historical city with lots of things to do not in the winter season but in the summer season 🙂 but still it wasn’t a waste visiting Mostar during winter 🙂

On that day, we left Sarajevo while it was snowing in the morning… then the farther we went the greener it gets ! because there was no snow in mostar,  our driver told me it rarely snows but indeed it was freezing . The next post is going to be about  The beatiful Mostar but now Join me on the Road to Mostar 😉

 I miss the snow !

half way we decided to take a break and enjoy a hot drink to at one of the restaurants on the road to warm up because it was freezing ! … ofcourse I prefered to take a walk on the other side of the road while the gang were enjoy their coffee and tea 🙂 look at the view from the other side of the road ….

knt abi aqareb akthaar bs knt khayfa azleq 😛 mo waqta b3d atkasar bil safra lol

Beautiful ..el hedou el 6bee3ah shay moreee7 mashallah !

Now enough with all the meat 😛 ashwani ma knt yo3anah 7azaat.ha 🙂 after that walk we continued our ride to Mostar …

 Almost there …..
