The magical Lagoa das Sete Cidades ! I remeber how I kept saying that name when I was there again and again to get to pronounce it the right way 😛 at Lagoa Sete Cidades we had the unforgettable picnic, down there by the green lake … later we drove to that point that you can see in the photo above to Vista do Rei (the King’s view) up there you get the chance to see the huge volcanic crater, when you stand at the top looking down at these beautiful lakes of Sete Cidades (Lagoa Azul and Lagoa Verde)
Lagoa Sete Cidades is one of the most visited lakes in So Miguel the Azores ! Sete Cidades “ Lagoon of the Seven Cities” is composed of two lakes in the center of a large volcanic crater in Sao Miguel,The Azores . One of the amazing features of Sete Cidades is the colors of the two lakes, one is green and the other is blue ! and if you read my previous review on our picnic you will notice that we had our picnic next to the green lake ! Lagoa das Sete Cidades is the largest body of water in the region and one of the most important freshwater resources in the archipelago.
البحيره الجميله .. بحيره السبع مدن في جزيره ساو ميغييل – جزر الازوريس البرتغال كانت اول بحيره انشوف منظرها من فوق ..شفتوا هالبحيره ؟ اهيه البحيره الي سويينا عندها كشتتنا و بعها صعدنا فوق بالسياره عشان انشوف منظرها .. بحيره السبع مدن عباره عن بحيرتين بركانيتين بس سبحان الله وحده مايها ازرق ووحده مايها اخضر و تعتبر هالبحيره من اجمل و اشهر البحيرات البركانيه بالجزيره .. و هم من اكبر البحيرات الماي العذب في جزر الازويس
There was some fog when we visited Sete Cidades, I think the photos will be more beautiful if the weather was more clear ! اليوم الي زرنا فيه البحيره الجو اشويه ما كان مستقر .. مره شمس .. مره غيم و ضباب .. مره تمطر عالخفيف .. بس اشوه قدرت اصور صور زينه .. بس لو تشوفون الصور الثانيه الي بالنت حزه ما الجو يكون صافي بتشوفونها اوضح و احلى 
The Lagoa has attractive view, there are alot of interesting sights in the area. You can enjoy the beautiful landscape of lush vegation and flowers ( Azaleas and Hydrangeas) that flourish in the crater. Usually there are more flowers but we were there at the end of summer 🙂 You can enjoy driving or walking around the top of the crater of Sete Cidades on the narrow road. It offers wonderful views of the crater’s interior and if the weather is clear the coast as well.
البحيره لها مناظره خياليه .. و انا اصور من مكان لي مكان تفرق اللقطه للي يدققون بالتفاصيل .. اكثر شي معروف بالبحيره غير انه البحيرتين لهم لونين .. انه يطلع فيها ورد الهايدرنجا بشكل كبير .. بس حزت روحتنا كانت اخر الصيف فلحقنا على اخر الورد و لا بالعاده بالصيف يبين اللون الوردي فوق عند هالمنطقه
you might not notice the color of the two lakes from up there but when the weather is clear it will show 🙂 Some Legends says that colors of the two lakes were created by the tears of a princess and her lover when the king forbade their romance. The king allowed one last visit between the princess and the young shepherd. At this meeting the princess and her young lover shed tears that formed the two lakes, each with a colour matching their eyes.
اختلفت الاساطير في تفسير الظاهره الي في بحيره ست سي دادز او بحيره السبعه مدن .. بس الاسطوره الي اتفقوا عليها الاغلبيه انه بحيره تعكس لون دموع اميره و بحيره ثانيه تعكس لون دموع الانسان الي حبها و مثل كل القصص الاسطوريه لازم احد يكون مانعهم من الزواج .. احب اسمع هالقصص حتى لو كانت مو صجيه بس ما اوصلت لي هالوقت معناته الشعب الازوري يسمعها من زمان

زيارتنا لبحيره السبع مدن كانت من ضمن رحله اليوم الاول لاكتشاف جزيره ساو ميغييل مع مرشدنا السياحي الخاص قيري .. واايد اماكن زرناها باليوم الاول و اذا تبون اتشوفون الرحله مالت اليوم الاول جيكوا على المواضيع الي قبل و لازالت الرحله مستمره …. وين رحنا بعد هالمكااان 🙂 يايكم بالتقرير الياي انشاءالله
