Pier 39, San Francisco- April, Trip 2013

There is no San Francisco without Pier 39 ! That’s the way I see it ! no matter how many times I fly to San Fran, Pier 39 is always one of my best attraction in San Francisco, California. I have to admit that San Francisco is one of my best cities in the world ! I loved that city since I was a little girl when my parents used to take me there .Pier 39 is indeed one of the best attractions in San Francisco and it’s always mentioned in where to go lists or what not to miss or must visit places when in San Francisco What about Pier 39? why is it so special to me and to many tourists ? Pier 39 is the home of many amazing attractions such as aquarium of the bay, Pier 39 Marina, San Francisco Carousel, souvenir shops, street performers and Sea Lions It’s also the home of many restaurants and cafes ! Pier 39 is a place that has it all and for me its always a good idea to talk a daily walk at Pier 39 ! Now …. I will take you with me through a photo tour to explore more of Pier 39

لمه تطري سان فرانسسكو على بالي دااايما يطري معاها هالمكان ( بير 39 ) على كثر المرات الي زرت فيها هالمكان يظل دايما متصدر الاماكن الي ابي ازورها في كل زياره لي لمدينه سان فرانسسكو الجميله في ولايه كاليفورنيا بأمريكا … قبل لا ابدي اكتب عن هالمكان و شنو فيه بالضبط لازم اعترف انه سان فرانسسكو من المدن الاحب لقلبي مو بس بأمريكا هم بالعالم .. بس هم لازم اقول لكم انه في وايد ناس يزورونها ما تعجبهم و هالشي طبيعي لانه الناس اذواق .. انا بطبيعتي احب تفاصيل كل مدينه و اميزها عن غيرها و تظل مرتبطه بذاكرتي بأدق تفاصيلها الجميله.. تعلمت اشوف الزين و ابتعد عن الشين .. المهم .. بير 39 من الاماكن الي بتشوفون انه اغلب مواقع السفر و التقارير السياحيه يوصون زوار سان فرانسسكو بزيارته … من اهم و ابرز االاماكن السياحيه في سان فرانسسكو و احد الاسباب انه موقعه يم منطقه فشر مانز وورف و هي منطقه الصيادين القديمه المعروفه في سان فرانسسكو و هم اهي المنطقه الي دايما افضل اختيار فندق فيها في كل زياره لي لسان فرانسسكو و انشالله بالتقارير اليايه بتشوفوون تقرير خاص عن الفندق الي سكنته فيها Continue reading →

One Night at Amália House -Lisbon, Portugal

This is were we enjoyed a night listening to “Lisbon’s soulful sound” Fado music. After spending four days in the Azores, we returned back to Lisboa, the capital of Portugal to spend one night then continue our tour exploring the beautiful regions of Portugal. We had it planned how to spend that night. We booked tickets to “Uma Noite em Casa de Amália” which means “One Night at Amália House” it’s a live theatre that will introduce you to the “ queen of Fado” Amália Rodrigues , The women who intruduce fado to the world.

في هالمسرح الي بالصوره فوق .. قضينا ليله غنائيه في ربوع لشبونه تعرفنا فيها على الموسيقى الاولى للبرتغال و اهي جزء من ثقافه البرتغال… موسيقى الفادو .. بعد وصولنا الي لشبونه من رحله من بونتا دلقادا من ساو ميغييل - جزر الازويس .. طلعنا سيدنا من المطار الى اوتيلنا في وسط العاصمه و كان اوتيل يديد غير الي سكناه في اول رحلتنا للبرتغال و انشالله راح اكتب عنه تقرير خاص .. المهم بعد ما وصلنا و حطينا شغلنا بغرفنا بالفندق .. نزلنا و رحنا مشي تقريبا 10 دقايق للمسرح لمشاهده مسرحيه غنايئه فيها مقتطفات و احداث مهمه من حياه مغنيه الفادو الاولى الي يلقبونها بملكه الفادو لي يومنا هذا.. المغنيه اماليا رودريقاس المغنيه الي عرفت العالم على موسيقى الفادو ..

Time went by so fast on that day during the Whale Watch tour in So Miguel, Later when we arrived back to the marina, we decided to have a fast snack at a café that is located next to Futurismo Office, then we we decided to take a walking tour in the city of Ponta Delgada. Ponta Delgada is a city and municipality on the island of São Miguel in the archipelago of the Azores, Ponta Delgada is the administrative capital of the Autonomous Region of the Azores, So its like if it’s the Capital of the nine Islands of the Azores.

The main entry point and the only airport in Sao Miguel, João Paul II (Nordela) International Airport handles domestic flights to São Miguel island, as well as international flights from Europe and North America to the Azores. Carriers that fly to São Miguel are SATA International and TAP Air Portugal and are the primary Portuguese air carriers serving the island. In addition, several cruise lines make Ponta Delgada a waypoint when journeying across the Atlantic. The marina at Ponta Delgada also welcomes many yachts from around the world.

في يومنا الثالث وقتنا مر بسرعه من بدايه اليوم مع رحله مشاهده الحيتان في جزيره ساو ميغييل – جزر الازوريش – البرتغال … 3 ساعات قضيناها بالمحيط مرت بسرعه كانها 3 دقايق من كثر ما التجريه الي عشناها كانت غير و ممتعه و يديده … يومها بعد ما ردينا المارينا قعدنا بكافيه ناكل لنا وجبه خفيفه و حزتها قررنا انه انكمل يومنا بالمينه و ناخد جوله استكشافيه فيها باحسن و احلى طريقه الي اهي التمشي .. وايد احب اتمشى من غير لا اخصص اني رايحه لمكان معين .. امشي و استمتع بالي القاه من معالم و سكيك و محلات شعبيه … المدينه الي تمشينا في اهي المدينه الرئيسيه بجزيره ساو ميغييل و هم تعتبر اكبر المدن في جزر الازوريس التسعه و فيها Continue reading →

Whale Watching with Futurismo – Sao Miguel, The Azores

On that day I saw five whales on a whale watching tour from Sao Miguel – The Azores, Portugal :D I can’t describe how I felt while I was standing there watching that whale, but I knew it was once in a life time experience ! moments that I won’t live twice ….an experience that will never happen again even if it does, I will not feel the same as I did in the first time ! How did all of that happen ? when Iwas planning for my trip to Portugal ,I knew my 30th Birthday was going to be something different there! something I will never forget ! well that’s what I did on my last birthday ! I went Whale Watching in The Azores – Portugal. That’s what you get and experience when you do a good search before you go to the destination you’re planning to visit. On our third day in the Island and after spending two days exploring the Land of Sao Miguel, we went of a different kind of exploration and adventure in the middle of The Atlantic Ocean for some Whales and dolphins Before I took the trip to Potugal I made my reservation with Futurismo by email .Futurismo is a whale watching company on the Azorean islands São Miguel and Pico. Also, they arrange other land activities and adventures in the Island of Sao Miguel ! The booking was so easy ! my emails were with The Lovely Dina Correia, She was so informative about Futurismo activities. I read the document listing the kind of tours they offer, then I booked a tour with Futurismo.

يومها شفت خمس حيتان خلال رحلتنا البحريه لمشاهده الحيتان و الدلافين في جزيره ساو ميغييل – جزر الازوريس البرتغال !!! ما اقدر اوصف لكم شعوري حزتها .. يمكن بنظركم يكون الشي عادي .. بس و الله من حجزت للرحله و انا كنت ناطره و حدي متشوقه لها و خصوصا انها كانت بيوم عيد ميلادي .. احلى هديه وصلتني شوفه هالحيتان في المحيط الاطلسي … بعد التجربه هذي اكييييد ابي اروح برحله مثلها مره ثانيه بس مستحيل اعيش نفس لحظات الفرحه و الوناسه الي عشتها حزتها … بيوم عيد ميلادي الثلاثين بديته بتجربه و مغامره يديده بجزيره بعيده عن ديرتي بالمحيط الاطلسي …. هالشي صار لانه قبل السفره بحثت عدل عن البرتغال و جميع الانشطه الموجوده فيها و نقينا انا و قروبي الانشطه الي بخاطرنا نجربها و من ضمنها رحله لمشاهده الحيتان و الي كانت تجربه يديده لنا كلنا … و اثناء البحث عن Continue reading →

Sunset at Povoacao – Sao Miguel,The Azores

and there we were …watching the beautiful breathtaking sunset on an island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean ! My trip to Portugal was all about exploring and living by experiencing new things and seeing amazing places . Visiting Sao Miguel Island of the Azores is indeed one unique adventure ! Since we arrived to that Island we’ve been waking up early and catching the road with our private tour guide to explore the beauty of this island … on our second day tour, we made one last stop at that place that you can see in the above photo to watch a beautiful sunset in Sao Miguel … this beautiful sunset was at Miradouro Pôr-do-sol in Povoacao, is a city on the south side of Sao Miguel Island that is close to the area of Furnas… That sunset made my day.. actually it was the last sunset of my 29 years old ! to a new day of being 30 years old yeah I celebrated my Birthday there in Sao Miguel and I will show you what kind of adventure I had on my birthday now hope you guys enjoy the few photos I took of the sunset ……..

ووصلنا لقمه يم المحيط و تطل على مدينه جميله … من وصلنا هالجزيره واحنا سباق مع الوقت .. نقعد من الصبح و ما نرجع مزرعتنا الا تالي الليل .. شفنا اشياء يديده و تعلمنا اشياء وايد .. السفره للبرتغال كانت غير و الي ميزها زيارتنا لجزر الازوريس في المحيط الاطلسي .. ختامنا لجولتنا باليوم الثاني كانت بمشاهده غروب الشمس باحدى الطلات المعروفه في الجزيره … الحمدالله قدرنا انلحق ونعيش لحظات الغروب الجميله … بالنسبه لي لحظات ما راح Continue reading →

Miradouro da Ponta do Sossego – Sao Miguel, The Azores

Beauty is what I saw when I was standing there ..no matter where you go on that Island “ Sao Miguel -The Azores” you’re going to find beauty of its magical nature ! I always dreamed of visiting a destination that is far far away from home , a place that in someway seems not real or like another planet and when I was standing there watching the ocean I realized that I am living my dream :D Sao Miguel is full of viewpoints or lookouts.This is one of the best, Miradouro da Ponta do Sossego, it has a view of the east coast of São Miguel Island near Nordeste. The lookout have sitting areas, covered picnic areas, barbecues and washrooms.We met the gardner who took care of the big garden all by himself. But unfortunately I didn’t take a photo of him :( I will leave you with some of the photos I took while I was there……

وقفنا عند هالتله و احنا بطريج ردتنا لمزرعتنا … نقريبا كانت نهايه جولتنا لليوم الثاني في الجزيره .. الجزيره العجيبه ساو ميغييل – جزر الازوريس البرتغال ! هالجزر الي صج اتنادي هواه الطبيعه و الهدوء .. ماشاء الله على الرغم من انها صغيره لكن خلال يومين شفنا فيها اشياء وايد .. و الشي الي وايد شفنا منه اهوه الطلات على مناظر طبيعيه .. وصلنا لي هالطله الي تشوفونها بالصوره الي فوق … يهبل الورد سبحان الله جنه مصفووف صف ..منطقه هالطله هذي مجهزينها بقعدات خاصه للكشتات و مسوين يمها حديقه كبيره فيها اشجار وورد من انواع مختلفه يعتني فيها شخص واحد .. وطبعا اول ما وصلنا مرشدنا السياحي قعد يسولف معاه .. الكل يعرف الثاني من كثر ما الجزيره عنونه Continue reading →

Parque Natural da Ribeira dos Caldeirões – Sao Miguel, The Azores

On that day our tour seemed like it will never end ! we kept going from place to place around the island exploring its natural beauty, we’ve been to volcanic craters, viewpoints, lakes, hot springs, hills over the ocean and yet there was much to see ! On our second day tour from Cha Gorreana “ Tea Factory “ we drove to The Waterfalls Park “ Parque Natural da Ribeira dos Caldeirões” in Nordeste in Sao Miguel Island – The Azores . I’ve seen waterfalls before but nothing like this tropical forest waterfall ! surronded by beautiful Hydrangea ! Waterfalls from the mountains and other over the valley ! while Iwas standing there I felt Beauty is everywhere surrounding me !Once we arrived there we took a walk throw the paths to checkout the waterfalls . At the park is a café and a souvenir shop which ofcourse I stopped by to buy some

كنت واقفه بذاك المكان … اشوف هالمنظر بعدسه كامرتي .. ادقق بالتفاصيل .. الورد .. الخضره .. المساحه .. الطبيعه .. الهوا الصافي .. صوت الماي مال الشلال .. و اقول ماكو احلى من السفر و اكتشاف الاماكن اليديده و خصوصا البعيده و الي مو وايد سامعين عنها … بجزيره ساو ميغييل شفنا الطبيعه بكل انواعها من وديان و براكين و طلات على المحيط و بحيرات و قرى .. ماشاءالله الطبييعه كامله فيها .. كل مره نوقف عند شي غير .. بعد ما خلصنا من زياره مصنع الشاي اتجهنا الى حديقه او منطقه الشلالات … صج اني شايفه شلالات وايد من قبل بس اول مره اشوف شلالات في غابه و دار مدارها نباتات غريبه و ورد الهايدرنجا بالوانه المختلفه … الي تحسفت عليه انه ما يبت معاي لبس السباحه عشان اوقف تحت الشلال .. الحديقه فيها ممرات على جميع المستويات تحت بالوادي و هم فوق Continue reading →

من يومين قمت بزياره قريه كويتي و افتخر و بدعوه خاصه من فريق العمل للمدونين .. هالقريه تعتبر الاولى من نوعها من في الكويت لدعم المشاريع الصغيره و الانجازات و المواهب الكويتيه ..تمتد مساحتها الى 20.000 م و تنقسم القريه الى عده اقسام منها مقهى بو ناشي و هو حوش خاص للمطاعم منها مطاعم الوجبات السريعه ومطاعم كويتيه و في قسم حصن الكوت مسرح مجهز لاقامه الفعاليات المحليه و العالميه لمده 14 يوم من تاريخ الافتتاح 6 مارس 2013 … اما قسم ميناء الفرضه فيه مجوعه ثانيه من المطاعم و المقاهي الراقيه و البحيره الصناعيه الي فيها البوم الكويتي بالاضافه الى مسرح سيتم فيه عرض مواهب الشباب الكويتي و اخيرا قسم تل بهيته و هو القسم الخاص بالاطفال …جدا استمتعت بالجوله بالقريه .. الجهود المبذوله كانت واضحه باتقان العمل ! Cha Gorreana – Sao Miguel, Azores

We had an amazing time touring that tea factory ! It wasn’t my first visit to a tea factory, I’ve visited one before in Malaysia ! but The one in Sao Miguel, The Azores -Portugal was different ! We arrived at Gorreana Tea Factory at Ribiera Grande after visiting Furnas during our second day tour exploring the Island f Sao Miguel. How was it different ? well you will see :D Gorreana Tea Factory is recognized internationally as a “world class” tea is Europe’s oldest remaining tea company. Family owned and operated since 1883, when Ermelinda Gago Da Camara and her son Jose-Honorato opened the factory selling the first production of teas grown under the Gorreana name. Miradouro do Pico de Ferro -Sao Miguel, The Azores

After having Lunch, The famous Azorean Cozido at Furnas , we continued our exploring tour around the Island of Sao Miguel- The Azores. We stopped at Miradouro do Pico de Ferro, an amazing lookout or viewpoint in Furnas overlooking Lagao das Furnas that you don’t want to miss ! The Island of Sao Miguel is amazingly beautiful no wonder they call it The Green Island ! we have stopped at many lookouts during our first day tour and second day tour, but yet each of them is amazingly different, some with a view of Lake and the ocean too like this Miradouro .. There goes some photos of Miradouro do Pico de ferro …

جولتنا في منطقه فرناس او فورنش بجزيره ساو ميغييل – جزر الازوريس بالبرتغال كانت جدا ممتعه … شفنا فيها البراكين و المياه الحاره الطبيعيه و بحيرات و هم طلات على مناظر حلوه .. اكثر شي شفناه بالجزيره اهوه الطلات كل مكان اكو طله على منظر مختلف يا بحيرات او جبال او على المحيط و حتى على القرى … فعلا ما غلطوا لمه لقبوها بالجزيره الخضرا اللون الاخضر اهو اللون الغالب سبحان الله .. جزيره ساو ميغييل جميله بكل شي فيها .. في جولتنا الثانيه الاستكشافيه بالجزيره و بعد ما تغدينا غدانا اللذيد الاكله التقليديه لسكان فرناس .. قضبنا الطريج و رحنا لقمه تطل على بحيره فرناس الي عندها تم طبخ غدانا ببخار البركان تحت الارض …. و اخليكم مع بعض الصور Continue reading →
