A different stay … in a beautiful city, The capital of UAE, Abu Dhabi … Abu Dhabi is one of my closest getaways ! I’ve been to Abu Dhabi several times and on each visit I stay at a different Hotel .. My last visit to Abu Dhabi was in January 2013 part of the Tour I took exploring the UAE, and I made the perfect choice when it came to where to stay :D I stayed at Jumeirah at Etihad Towers ! I couldn’t resist the beauty I saw in the photo gallery of Jumeirah at Etihad Tower Website, all with the positive reviews that I read in many travel websites too !  I didn’t hesitate and went with a 2 nights reservation at Jumeirah at Etihad Towers ! I will take you through a tour of my arrival to at Jumeirah at Etihad Towers …

 كانت اقامه متميزه … في مدينه يحبها قلبي .. العاصمه الجميله لدوله الامارات ” أبوظبي” .. أبوظبي المدينه الي اعتبرها الوجهه الاولى لقضاء اجازه سريعه و حلوه و قريبه من ديرتي الكويت … اشلون الناس يحبون دبي .. انا اعشق ابوظبي :) رحت لها واايد بس في كل زياره  اجرب اسكن في مكان غير عن الزياره الي تسبقها.. دايما اختياراتي تكون موفقه الحمدالله .. بس المره الي طافت كانت موفقه بشكل غير !!!  اقامتي في فندق الجميرا ابراج الاتحاد كان من ضمن رحلتي للمارات بشهر يناير 2013 .. الرحله كانت جوله سريعه بين امارات الدوله ,فقبل روحتي كنت اتفرج عالفنادق  … و آنا اتجول بالانترنت بموقع الجميره شفت صور فندق جميرا أبراج الاتحاد في ابوظبي .. الصور اتهبل .. التصميم الداخلي و الخارجي لفندق الجميرا كان مختلف عن Continue reading →

I’ve been to Abu Dhabi at the beginning of this year while on a trip exploring the UAE.During my stay there, I passed by Abu Dhabi Central Market Souk and there I knew about Sougha … What is Sougha ? It’s a social enterprise initiative by Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, aimed at reviving the emirati heritage through artisan skills development and market opportunity creation. Sougha products include corporate presents, women accessories , home decor and fragrance items. I loved all their Products ! it was really hard to choose what to buy ! but what I really needed by that time was an ipad case or bag … So I went with the Yallow leather ! but let me show you what other products Sougha have ..

ابوظبي الجميله كانت من ضمن الامارات الي زرتها بشهر يناير 2013 برحله خاصه للتجول بالامارات العربيه المتحده … و خلال تواجدي في ابوظبي و رغم انها زيارتي الثالثه الا انه اول مره اروح سوق اسمه سوق ابوظبي المركزي .. ما ادري اذا كان موجود خلال زيارتي لابوظبي بالسنين الي طافت بس هالسوق وايد حلو و انشالله راح اكتب عنه موضوع خاص .. بس احلى شي شريته منه كان من كشك صغير موجود في هالسوق اسمه صوغه … شنو قصه صوغه ؟ شدني اسمه من بعيد و لمه قربت ينييييت على الكوليكشن و البضاعه الي عندهم ! رغم بساطتها بس فكرتها حلوه و انا واايد احب الاشياء الي تكون مشغولات يدويه و لها علاقه بالتراث .. تعتبر صوغه مبادره اجتماعيه و تراثيه تهدف الى المحافظه على التراث الحرفي الاماراتي … هي مؤسسه اجتماعيه مملوكه لصندوق Continue reading →

Emirates and TAP launch codeshare partnership

Emirates and TAP Portugal have announced the start of a reciprocal codeshare agreement enabling passengers from both airlines to benefit from seamless connections effective from today.The reciprocal codeshare will permit customers to enjoy the convenience of a single combined ticket for Emirates and TAP Portugal-operated flights, in addition to linking Emirates’ frequent flyer programme, Skywards, and TAP’s Victoria frequent flyer programme. Under the agreement, Emirates’ flight number will be placed on TAP services from Lisbon to Porto, Faro and Funchal in Portugal as well as Seville, Madrid and Barcelona in Spain. TAP will place its code and flight number on several Emirates’ services between Lisbon and Dubai, to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore. Emirates currently operates a daily non-stop flight to Lisbon Airport with its 274 seat Boeing 777-200ER. EK 191 flight departs from Dubai at 09:15 and arrives in Lisbon at 14:45 allowing for seamless connections to a number of TAP services. The return flight, EK 192 departs Lisbon at 17:55 and arrives in Dubai at 04:35, the next day.

 أبرمت كل من شركة «طيران الإمارات»، والخطوط البرتغالية (تاب) اتفاقية لتسيير رحلات برمز مشترك بينهما، تتيح لركاب الناقلتين متابعة السفر من مطاري «دبي الدولي» و«لشبونة» بمنتهى اليسر ،  و أفاد طيران الإمارات في بيان  اصدره بتاريخ 19-12-2012  بأن اتفاقية تبادل الرموز للركاب مع الخطوط البرتغالية ” تاب ” ، تتيح السفر على رحلات طيران الإمارات وتاب التي تنطلق من البرتغال بتذكرة واحدة، إضافة إلى الاستفادة من عضوية برنامج طيران الإمارات لمكافأة المسافرين الدائمين (سكاي واردز) وبرنامج تاب (فكتوريا). بحيث سيتم إضافة أرقام رحلة طيران الإمارات على رحلات تاب المنطلقة من لشبونة إلى وجهات( بورتو-  -فارو-  -فونكال)  في البرتغال وإلى (سيفيل- مدريد- برشلونة) في إسبانيا. كما ستضع تاب أرقام رحلاتها على العديد من رحلات طيران الإمارات المنطلقة من دبي إلى الشرق الأقصى، بما في ذلك وجهات بانكوك، وهونغ كونغ، وكوالالمبور، وسنغافورة، ودبي.

The Pavilion Downtown Dubai – UAE

How lovely it is to start a new day in another spot in this world, not really far away from  your home, your country but yet it’s the little change that happens when you move and roam around even if you cross boundaries to a close by destination. That’s where I  had an amazing breakfast with my cousins a couple of weeks ago when we decided that She the birthday girl deserves to celebrate her birthday in Dubai ! Dubai is one of the closest destination to my country Kuwait! That day we left in the morning the first flight on Jazeera Airways then back to Kuwait late that night on the same day. The flight almost take an hour and 15 minutes from Kuwait to Dubai .

شي وايد حلو انه الواحد يصبح في ديره بس يبدي يومه في ديره ثانيه و خصوصا  اذا كانت هالديره قريبه مثل دبي الغاليه .. التغيير وايد مهم و انا من الاشخاص الي احب التغيير و من كثر ما احبه احس انه اهوه هم  قام يحبني  :) من قبل جم اسبوع قررنا انه نروح دبي الصبح و نرجع بليل  للاحتفال بعيد ميلاد وحده من صديقاتي ووايد غاليه على و بفضل طيران الجزيره و رحلاته العجيبه تتحقق الامنيات ..

و بدايه يومنا كانت من المطار سيده للمكان الي تشوفون صورته فوق” ذي بافليون داون تاون دبي” و تريقنا فيه   ؟ شقصه هالمكان و اشلون لقيته او وين سمعت عنه ؟

كتاب “اكتشف الامارات”  عبارة عن دليل سياحي لدوله الامارات المتحدة .الكتاب يقسم الإمارات حسب مساحتها إلى خمسة أقسام : ( شمال الامارات – المنطقة الغربية – حتا – العين – الساحل الشرقي ) و في كل قسم  من هذه الاقسام يقدم تقرير تفصيلي للمنطقة مع صور يوضح معالمها التراثيه و اهم المعلومات عنها  بالاضافه لابرز الأنشطة السياحية و الفنادق و المنتجعات الموجوده فيها  و ايضا كيفية الوصول اليها عن طريق ذكر الاحداثيات الدقيقه ( gps ) لكل منطقه

 كذلك أبرز ما في الكتاب هو وفرة الصور فيه حيث تصل الى أكثر من 150 صورة.  ففكرة الكتاب قائمة على ثلاث أمور : لكل منطقة نضع ( التقرير المفصل عنها – صور المنطقة – احداثياتها ليتم الوصول لها ) و تم عرضها بطريقه واضحه و مرتبه ففي كل قسم من الاقسام سيجد القارئ بالإضافة الى الثلاث أمور السابقة خريطة للمنطقة و جدول للانشطة و الشركات السياحية و أبرز فنادق المنطقة .

Sunset Tour – Banyan Tree Alwadi

One of the things that I enjoyed doing when I was staying at Banyan Tree Alwadi – Ras Alkhaimah, UAE, during my getaway vacation, is to taking a bike tour before sunset . I think the resort offers so many guided walking or biking tours but I prefered to go with the family and explore the place around . The surrounding wilderness and the desert beauty is indeed not to miss at that time of the day. Hope you guys enjoy the photos I took :)

Saffron Thai Restaurant – Banyan Tree Alwadi

 One of the best Tom Yum Soups that I  ever tasted in my life !!! so delicious ! Well During my stay at Banyan Tree Alwadi Ras Alkhaimah, UAE few weeks ago, I had the chance to dine at Saffron Restaurant, the signature restaurant at Banyan Tree Alwadi offering authentic Thai food !

The Overall experience was good, amazing food actually ! the place has a beautiful atmosphere, quiet and cosy but a little  disappointing service, the staff were friendly and helpful but everything went too slow ! what I mean is that there was know one at the restaurant’s enterance to seat us, our order was taken after awhile, we had to wait so long  for everything ! I think its the lack of staff ! that’s all ! and I really hope they work on it since the food was really tasty ! As for what we ordered, fist there was some complimentary thai treat  which was served at our table something like crackers and chips, all from Thai cuisine . Banyan Tree AlWadi – Activities

When you stay at a resort, specially the getaway kind of resort, there must be lots of complimentary facilities and activities too !  so always ask about about them upon arrival :) besides the other paid activities that you can enjoy during your stay. When I stayed with Banyan Tree AlWadi – Ras Alkhaimah UAE a couple of weeks ago,  I had in mind that Im going to have a relaxation time next to my  pool in my private villa and that’s what I mostly enjoyed during my stay . However, when I was there I had the chance to take some photos of the some of the facilities that you can enjoy during your stay within the resort . Some other activities are there too that you actually ca enjoy in another close place  called Banyan Tree Ras ALKhaimah Beach  which is another resort owned by the Banyan Tree and its like 20 minutes drive from Banyan Tree Alwadi .
